The Public Health Interventions Research Group conducts a wide range of projects focused on the evaluation of strategies to prevent infectious diseases. We collaborate extensively within the Kirby Institute, with our Australian partners and with international organisations.

We are currently involved in projects related to the control of HIV, sexually transmitted infections, viral hepatitis, tuberculosis, scabies and trachoma. We have large scale research projects in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Cambodia, Fiji and the Solomon Islands.
